Growing up by the seaside, I hold a deep connection to the beach. noT only captivated by it’s beauty, but by it’s diverse array of individuals who frequent its shores - from the sunbathers and adventurous swimmers to fishermen and curious tourists.

Driven by my passion for documenting, I am embarking on a personal project to delve into the lives of those who populate brighton beach, those forever preserving it’s unique charm.

Beach ties aims to read between the lines of the picturesue landmark photos we see everyday. Drawing from personal experiences, I am undertaking an intimate and anthological study of beach culture.
